Another time where only the strong survive


A frequent question was regarding the sanitary facilities we found in India.  As solid citizens of a western country, we knew to expect culturally different receptacles, so we packed TP and hand sanitizer.  Below are a couple of pictures I found on some other travelers' web sites that show what an "Indian Toilet" looks like and how to use it. 

Most toilets, both Indian and "European" have a separate faucet and/or hose, a bucket and a small 2-cup size mug or measuring cup.  You can see how to use them below, and if you're really interested, read the two links I provide below.
